Due to an unfortunate recent event the Stand Your Ground Law got a new place in the spotlight. For those unfamiliar, it’s the use of deadly force without duty to retreat. That’s the claim George Zimmerman has made in defense of his shooting Trayvon Martin. This highly publicized case is raising a lot of questions about the use of this law, as well as the public outcry that could sway public policy.
